Summary. The article is devoted to the investigation of Vasyl Stefanyks novelistic discourse
as a linguomental phenomenon. It is stated that dialecticisms, realities, ethnic language
elements, imagery constructions with dialectal component manifest organic language thinking
of a novelist, radiate mental energy and are often difficult to translate or in the process of
translation they undergo essential linguoaesthetic and culturological loses.

Summary. The article deals with the study and analysis of the dialectal symbolems in Ivan
Frankos poetry in strictly linguistic aspect. The semantic and stylistic potential of the dialectal
symbolems as an integral representatives of Ivan Frankos poetic language style and language
thinking is allocated and highlighted.

Summary. The article is devoted to the investigation of sacred lexemes in Maria Matios prose
works:their changes, modifications, additional connotative increments. The theory of field is
used for deeper semantic-stylistic analysis. We point out the following conceptual fields: sacred
person, sacred action, sacred time.

Summary.The stylistic content of sociocultural and existential filling of the lexical-semantic field space
in poetic discourse of Yevheniy Malaniuk is observed in the article.
The semantic shift of space nominations towards philosophical categories of existence and mission
of a man, time and space, freedom and choice was traced.
Figuring out the parameters of the associative and imaginative deployment of spatial nominations
in poetic discourse of Yevheniy Malaniuk reveals the time and individual authors peculiarity
and expressive-evaluative and axiological sense.

Summary. The article deals with the features of Oleh Olzhych individual style, the best representative
of emigration literature. The poets language Considered picture was considered as
a way to uncover his knowledge at a certain level of social and cultural practices; these means
of expression of the authors consciousness as an epithet, metaphor, comparing and contrasting,
repetition were analyzed.

Summary. The author discusses the problems of transcribing Polish names into Ukrainian.
She also questions the necessity of incorporating practical transcription into the curriculum
of Ukrainian as a foreign language. The lack of clear and coherent rules of transcription from
Polish into Ukrainian leads to divergence and creates barriers in the interlinguistic communication,
as well as the chaos in documents. The development of new orthographic norms and their
integration into the curriculum are topical issues nowadays.

Summary. This paper is an attempt to explore unknown elements in the output of Władysław
Chodkiewicz a Polish writer, scholar, intellectual and emigrant. The inspiration for the following
analyses were manuscripts found in the archives of the Ukrainian National Library in
Kiev, including correspondence with Franciszek Kraszewski, unpublished work entitled Łaska
pańska na pstrym koniu jedzi, and also a speech on the occasion of the funeral of Bronisław
Zaleski. The author also presented the most important elements of the writers biography, his
literary output and his contribution to the development of oriental studies and archeology.

Summary. The plot of the novels Ruthenian by T.T Jeż (1824-1915) serves to illustrate a particular
political agenda based on social and national community of Poles and Ukrainians. Writer
has blamed the Polish nobility for a conflict of Polish-Ukrainian and made it socially divisive.
According to the writer, the aim of common activities a both nations Polish and Ukrainian
have had to overcome mutual historic conflicts and the pursuited of independence and the
creationed of a single state. In the begining It has been The Republic in the borders of 1772,
then Jeż has called for a federal state in which every nation will retain their distinctiveness.
Hryhor Serdeczny tells the story of peasant uprising in the year 1855. Russians to have failed
to win freedom. The source of their defeat was the selfish attitude of the Polish nobility. Hryhor
Serdeczny this is a novel-accusation.

Summary. In the article you can see the myth of Ukraine in the work of the Polish writer,
historian, publicist Francishek Rawita-Gawronski. With the example of his works,about events
among the princes of Kievan Rus and Polish kings, there is the image of Ukraine in myth
delimitation by writer. There is an analysis of basic motives and reasons for interest in themes
Ukrainian-Polish relations.
