Summary. All modern developments purpose is an quality improvement and production expenses diminishing. Tariffs increase is one of modern Ukraine basic problems, therefore there is a necessity of energyindependent creation, autonomous systems which will be controlled and managed remotely. The combined systems creation, able to work remotedly and regardless of direct energy resource, will result in the considerable protected level increase from instability temperature overfalls and overfalls in an electric network. The invention behaves to the heating engineering, in particular to the methods and devices for the heat receipt, appearing otherwise, what as a fuel combustion result, and it can be used in the heating system and dwellings hot water-supply and production apartments, and also for a preheat and oil reological properties improvement and products from oil. The sensors presence in this system allows to control, regulate and signal about its state, and also allows to set necessary parameters.

Mathematical models of rheological transformations during transfer of potential of mass, energy and momentum pulse - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary.The processes of convection-diffusion transfer of the potential of the determining parameter, which can be mass, energy or momentum pulse, are being considered. It is shown that the existing methods of mathematical modelling generally consider the transfer processes of mass, heat energy and momentum from a source of infinite cardinality to certain unlimited volume under the initial conditions of the first, second or third kind. In addition, it is assumed that the physical transition zone of the potential is infinitesimally small. At the same time, very complex mathematical models are obtained, which are often unfit for practical usage. It is shown that the rheological transition zone can be a technological device, for example, a reactor, an evaporation plant, an absorber, a rectifying column, etc., in which not only transformation of the main determining parameter occurs, but also creation of new ones. That is, the process of transformation under convection-diffusion transfer can be multistage with simultaneous output (drain) of the determining parameters – concentration, heat energy, pressure, etc. For mathematical description of the transfer processes of the potential the known laws of the transfer phenomena are used, which are supplemented by the corresponding laws of drain of the created potential. It is shown that in this case transformation of the input potential is described by nonlinear differential equations, which under certain conditions can be solved analytically..

Modelling of force action on ellipsoid-shape seed in separator channel - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. The behavior of seed in pneumo-electric separator channel is revealed. The characteristic of the active forces on ellipsoid-shape seed is demonstrated. Due to a differential equations you can find the coordinates of seed mixtures particles’ motion to determine the conditions under which we get maximum effect.

Transformation of n-alkanes of gasoline into components of motor fuels in cavitation field - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. To ensure compliance with modern standards for motor fuels, particularly gasoline, a significant amount of additives are added to their composition. This problem can be solved by converting n-alkanes of the source gasoline, which, in fact, spoil its quality indicators, into the motor fuel components, which will improve its quality, for example, in methanol, toluene, isoalkanes and others. The cavitation technology for conversion of hydrocarbons into methanol has been used for this purpose. The reactor and the process flow diagram have been developed. The optimal parameters of the process have been determined, which allowed increasing the octane number of the source gasoline by 10-12 units.

Efficiency of the modes of hydrothermal processing of buckwheat grains in the production of cereals - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. The article presents the results of experimental studies of the effectiveness of the hydrothermal processing (HTP) of buckwheat grains in the process of making cereals, carried out according to the developed method with the help of a constructed and manufactured laboratory-scale plant. In the course of research, the general yield of cereal products was determined experimentally after peeling the buckwheat grains and sorting the resulting mixture, depending on the hydrothermal processing mode. As a result of experiments on grains of buckwheat, varieties Antalya, Oranta, Krupynka and Ukrainka, it was established that the optimum duration of hydrothermal processing of raw materials is 9 ... 10 min., at a water vapor pressure in the HTP apparatus P = 2.0 MPa. The application of a justified optimal mode of hydrothermal processing of buckwheat grains allows increasing the total yield of buckwheat, on average, by 4.1 ... 5.1% compared to the existing technology.

Hybrid system of power supply with application of wind and solar energy - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Basing on the analysis of operating systems of hybrid wind and solar photovoltaic installations for power supply of distant objects, the authors of the article have developed a structure and algorithm of operation of an intelligent hybrid operating system. Application of Fuzzy Logic controller with the function of short-period forecast of natural conditions is a peculiarity of the developed system. Basing on the system, it is possible to make correction of the algorithm of hybrid system operating. The improved algorithm supports rational application of energy resources and raises their power efficiency.

Development of standard size pullers for bearings - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF



Summary. Theoretical studies have justified the contact area of the pinchers of the puller with the bearing ring during dismantling, which made it possible to reduce its metal capacity without violating the functional properties. It is established that the rational form of the clutches of a puller is such that it is executed in the form of a segment of a circle. Based on the dependence of the minimum value of the area of the contact of the puller’s pincher with the bearing ring on the force of compression, the pullers are divided into four sizes according to the size of the contact area of the pinchers. With the four sizes of pullers provided by us, the first (the smallest) size of the puller allows the removal of bearings with a diameter of up to 40 mm, with a design effort of 38 kN, the second one - bearings with a diameter of 40 mm to 60 mm, with a design effort of 59 kN, and the third with bearings with a diameter of 60 mm to 90 mm for the design effort of 95 kN and the fourth (the largest) - bearings with a diameter of 90 mm to 100 mm, with a design effort of 104 kN. The use of high-carbon alloy steels (60S2A steel) reduces contact area by 28%. The design of the proposed puller is simple and reliable in operation. Using a puller of this design reduces the length of the process of disassembly of parts by 10 ... 20%.

Summary.The problem of the management system improving for the development of mountain areas is extremely important for Ukraine, and above all for the Carpathian region. After all, mountainous areas cover a large part of its total area, where economic space is characterized by a high degree of depression [1], low investment attractiveness [2] and competitiveness, the average level of human development [3], the degree of backwardness of the problem, the conditionally clean area for level of pollution of the environment. That is, they form problem areas, the definition of which in the regions and the implementation of state measures to solve problems is one of the priorities of the state regional policy [4]. Thus, the mountain area is represented by mountainous areas, which are the objects of the state regional policy, which are not covered by the law in their integrity to achieve their developmental goals. The system of unified management of mountain areas in Ukraine is not ensured. There is a plurality of virtually autonomous management actors who, due to institutional reasons, are not able to implement a single mountain policy. The outlined institutions have a direct or indirect impact on the development of mountain areas, so it is important to assess the strength of their powers, the ability to perceive changes, adjusting functions, etc., with the aim of developing proposals for improving the management system for the development of mountain areas. At the present time, relations between the central government, oblast, rayon and city authorities have not, for the most part, undergone significant changes. However, in order to improve the quality of public administration in the country, decentralization and the reform of the civil service have been initiated, which causes instability of the existing management system, which must surely be taken into account.

Summary. The study deals with the problems connected with utilization and processing of wood biomass. This material has been used for energy production for a very long time. The goal of the study is to identify benefits and expenditures involved in the cycle of wood chips lifetime and to develop an original research methodology and biomass fuel assessment method. Methodology for assessment of wood biomass was developed on the basis of balancing benefits and costs involved in the material lifetime cycle. Energy efficiency indexes defining the relation of energy input to its acquisition and preparation as well as benefits from utilization of its combustion energy have been developed to assess the material usability..

Energy balance for wood biomass utilization. Part II – tests results - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF



Summary. World energy consumption is constantly growing. In the light of fossil fuels exhaustion, alternative energy sources such as biomass are becoming very important energy materials. The aim of this work is to analyze and assess the possibilities of using wood chips for energy purposes on the basis of a universal index and energy balance. Wood chips have been analyzed. Expenditures and energy benefits have been identified and values of the developed energy efficiency index have been determined. The impact of energy expenditures on the index value have been analyzed as well as the applied technology and technical conditions. It was found that the use of wood chips energy benefits overweigh the costs involved in their obtainment. This proves high energy efficiency of this material combustion process
