Implementation of genetic algorithm in electric machines optimization using Netbeans IDE and Java - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. In this paper the comparative analysis of existent optimization algorithms efficiency is made. The substantive provisions of genetic algorithms theory are considered. Possibility of applicability of genetic algorithms in the optimal design of electric machines was investigated. Results over of the classic genetic algorithm practical realization in induction motors optimization with a squirrel-cage rotor are done.

Improvement of standardized method of particulate matter emission control from the exhaust gases of vehicle diesel engines- pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary.The standard environmental diagnostic procedure for automotive diesel engine was analyzed. The resulting measurement error of one of the main environmental indicators for diesel engine – average inuse emission of suspended particulate matter in the exhaust gases was researched. Measures for its reduction were proposed. Instrumental and methodical components of this error were evaluated. The effectiveness of proposed measures was confirmed.

Analysis of everyday clothes usage conditions - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF



Summary.This article suggests the study results of conditions of everyday clothing usage depending on the type of 3-7 year old children’s activities on the playground. The purpose of defining game conditions was to determine the characteristic movements of children, which is necessary to develop special clothing as a means of protection from hazardous and harmful factors on playgrounds, and increase durability in certain places. Conditions of outdoorgames depend on the place, weather conditions (temperature, humidity), the availability and installation of playgrounds etc. All this, as well as the physiological characteristics of the child, determine the requirements to design comfortable children’s clothing for everyday use. Collection of information held by the method of Kurenova S. and Beskorovayna G., revealed the basic movements that children make in the game. They were classified as: running; movements, sitting “squatting” (sit-ups); movements, sitting on the buttocks; movements, sitting on the knees; climbing; climbing over the barrier; lap movements, only seven dynamic poses. An analysis of ergonomic postures found that the greatest burden on clothes are caused by movements 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7, that is, run on your lap. Thus, studies of children’s clothes in operation showed that textile material in the area of the knee is the most vulnerable to premature wear and failure. Therefore, the design of children’s casual pants destination should be paid attention to improving the performance properties of the front half of the product in the knee.

Mathematical model of the automatic electrohydraulic drive with volume regulation - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF



Summary. The electrohydraulic drive with volume regulation is considered. A volume pump with adjustable feed, assistive devices and executive hydraulic motor volume type are included in power part of the drive. Axial piston pump, the feed of which is controlled by varying the inclination angle of the cylinder block or change the angle of the swash spacer is used in the hydraulic drive. Hydraulic axial piston or radial-piston motor is used as an executive. Auxiliary devices: flap, filter, pump and tank system for feeding hydraulic fluid power part of the drive are set in the hydraulic drive. From extremely high-pressure pipelines of hydraulic drive is protected by two safety flap. The auxiliary pump injection line also has a safety flap which protects the pump from the pressure increase when the filter is clogged. In the development of a mathematical model the following assumptions: an asynchronous motor rotates the pump shaft with an angular velocity, whose value does not depend on the power developed by the pump; when the hydraulic drive pressure in the pipes do not reach values at which the safety flap open; line pressure before makeup flap is kept constant; force to overcome the hydraulic motor in the control of the object represented by the sum of the moments of action given to the shaft motor inertia load, positional load and hydraulic friction; pipes are made so short that it was possible to them to neglect the inertia of the fluid and pressure losses due to friction resistance are made. The mathematical model of the dynamic characteristics for the power unit of the automatic electrohydraulic drive with volume regulation is developed. A block diagram of the control signal transmission is represented. Transfer function of the driveis received.

Some aspects improvement of industrial pipeline transport - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF



Summary. Improvement and development of new highly efficient energy-saving methods of pipeline transport is proposed to carry out on the basis of modern scientific approaches. The new concept and its implemen-tation on the synergic basis are proposed. It is shown that stochastic modes of mixtures’ flow arise at passing through intermittence, i.e. they are the result of collision of asymptotically stable and unstable motion states. There is presented graph of the dependence of energy of mixture volume on parameter ?, reflecting the extent of instabil-ity. In this graph, threeareas are defined: in area I oscilla-tory motion of material particles takes place, without sep-aration from the surface of the pipe, in area II particles are in an unstable state; in area III particles are in suspension (transportation mode is in flight). Analysis of areaII shows that individual particles of volume of moving mix-ture have properties to enter the intermitentmodeat a slow change in parameter ?.

Summary.Machine-tractor fleet is an important part of agricultural production. Many factors depend largely on its effective operation, namely - reducing production costs, harvesting time, transportation to customers, storage of feed and other industrial and household and domestic processes. One of the most important areas to increase productivity and efficiency of the machine and tractor units is the most complete use of resources (uptime terms) of machines while reducing the cost of funds for their repair and maintenance. This can be achieved through the development and implementation of effective methods and tools for condition monitoring of machines, including tractors without their disassembly. With these tools, you can define the technical condition of components and assemblies of each machine separately and based on this we can set total amount of preventive and repair operations, and promptly troubleshoot and prevent them. The paper presents a mathematical model of a wheeled tractor steering axle as an object of diagnostics. A diagnostics matrix has been constructed along with a block diagram of its synthesis.

IMPACT OF SCALE FACTOR ON CRACKING RESISTANCE OF THERMOSTRESSED AND OUTPUT REINFORCEMENT STEEL - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF



Summary. The changes of cracking resistance ??=f(D) have been investigated for test cylinders with a circular crack made from thermo stressed and output reinforcement steel 25H2S and 35HS in the range of diameters (D = 6 ... 28 mm) and tested by the scheme of axial tension that appeared to be insignificant for thermo stressed and significant for output. It is established that the proportionality of values ??=?1?,for thermostressed test cylinders starts after testing D = 16mm (?1? = 95.5, 74.4 MPa?m) and output (state of delivery) - D = 22mm (?1? = 60.5; MPa?m 46.5), respectively, both for steel 25H2S and for 35HS. Method of axial tension of test cylinder with a circular crack is an effective tool to correctly determine the fundamental characteristics of crack (?1?) for the studied steels and ranking the quality bar steel at the stage of entrance control.

Investigation of equilibrium angles of winter rapeseed on an inclined plane of an electro frictional separator and optimization of their geometrical sizes - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF





Summary. The results of investigations of the equilibrium angle of the components of a seed mixture of winter rape on the surface of a moving tape of an electro frictional separator in an electric field of corona discharge are presented. Dependences of influence of the speed of the separator tape movement and the intensity of the electric field in its working zone on the angle of equilibrium of qualitative, acute and traumatized seeds of winter rape were obtained. The possibility of using the seed equilibrium angle as an index of its divisibility on an electro frictional separator based on a combination of physical-mechanical and biological properties has been confirmed. At the established angles of equilibrium, the geometric parameters of the inclined plane of the electrofrictional separator are optimized.

Summary. The 21st century is primarily characterized by the economic development of countries that are closely linked to the growth of human mobility, and many feel the benefits of organizing their lives around the car. However, the experience of EU countries shows that the rapid development of motorization can entail serious socio-economic problems. Road transport is attended by people who have the legal right to drive vehicles. A very important aspect in this area is the safety that guarantees the health of the driver and safe driving. However, many factors affect the dangers of the road, resulting in injuries, as well as death. It is therefore very important to observe the rules and regulations in road transport. The aim of the study is to present the dangers that occur to drivers on Polish roads. This article compares the results obtained after the survey among professional drivers and non-professional drivers. They tried to determine whether the age of drivers and the period of their driving license influenced their safety on the road. Safety is the most important aspect of the journey, so the research was to determine whether drivers know safety rules and use them while driving.

Evaluation of resistance to spray drift of selected sprayer nozzles in the aspect of non-uniformity in transverse distribution of liquid - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. The article presents an evaluation of resistance to spray drift of selected flat-jet sprayer nozzles, characterized by the effect of wind speed, on non-uniformity in transverse distribution of sprays. Measurements were made on an automated laboratory station equipped with a fan and sensors for measuring wind speed and wind direction [4, 5, 8]. The study adopted the following criteria for evaluation of the tested sprayer nozzles: CV index of non-uniformity in transverse distribution of liquid (with a maximum permissible value of 10%) and the number of measuring cylinders in which the liquid volume does not exceed ą10% of their average value. The results of laboratory tests and the above-mentioned criteria were used to assess which sprayer nozzles had the greatest resistance to spray drift within the range of the adopted variations in wind speed.

Application of topological optimization methods in wheelchair design-pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. The work was carried out to topological optimize the supporting elements of an electric wheelchair construction, as it is the model most frequently used by the disabled and people unable to move on their own. The form of frame wheel chair, that meets the configured criteria to reach the assumed value of the target function has created. The reduction of weight in the new design, the reduction of stress level and than threefold improvement the safety factor have been achieved. The presented method is very promising and should be supplemented with tools supporting the optimal selection of regular shapes of structural elements replacing the generated shapes in the future.

The influence of the linear velocity of the cutting unit on the cutting process of basket willow - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF



Summary. The paper presents the results of laboratory tests concerning the cutting process of basket willow by means of disc cutting unit. A disc for cutting wood with diameter of 600mm was used in the tests. The influence of the linear velocity of the cutting unit on the unitary energy of cutting the basket willow’s stems were determined. The most favorable values of the operating parameters of the cutting unit were selected in accordance with the minimum energy requirement in the cutting process of the tested plant.

A research on the cutting process of a poplar with a disk cutting unit- pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF



Summary. The paper presents the results of laboratory tests concerning the cutting process of black poplar by means of disc cutting unit. The influence of the linear velocity and rotary speed of the disk of cutting unit on the unitary energy of cutting the black poplar’s stems were determined. The most favorable values of the operating parameters of the cutting unit were selected in accordance with the minimum energy requirement in the cutting process of the tested plant.

Landscape-ecological assessment of “Volodymyrivska dacha” forestry reserve’s territory for environmental management - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF



Summary. The work was based on the original approach to landscape planning procedures, based not on administrative principle, but on studying environmental protection area. “Volodymyrivska Dacha” forestry reserve's territory has been studied on the basis of the author's technique on landscape-ecological planning for nature protection area. Landscape-ecological planning has been evaluated by soil sampling outside the testing points on the network and their laboratory analysis. The results of the evaluation phase were illustrating on geochemical maps on the soil cover of forestry reserve's territory "Volodymyrivska Dacha". The article presents cartographic models of the chloride anions, carbonates spatial distribution in the forestry soils, water and salt extraction pH. The obtained ???2? and ????l values indicate that majority of soils forestry reserve's territory “Volodymyrivska Dacha” have acid reaction, alkalization of soils localized in areas with high anthropogenic pressure, which in most cases is caused by presence of carbonates. The area of soil alkalization is mainly localized in the periphery - in places with a high level of nature conflicts. The results of various aspects landscape-ecological study of the forestry reserve's territory "Volodymyrivska Dacha" allow to develop optimization pattern for nature use and to organize environmental management for this territory.
