Modeling of energy saving methods of soybean drying for oil production - - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. The drying process of agricultural products processing is highly energy consuming. This problem determines to find new energy-efficient drying methods. One of the methods of the soybean drying process is the increase of the contact surface of the drying agent with the material being dried. It enables to intensify moisture removal as a result of broken bean surface. Device of preparation of soybean to drying is designed. This device executes proposed method of drying. The device of material preparation is placed in download mechanism of the dryer. The soybean is cut there. Then the seed is fed into the drying zone. This leads to reduction in drying time and energy saving. Dry soybeans can be used to produce oil. In order to investigate the effect from the soybean cutting on its drying, the experimental unit was developed and tested. For the analysis of the drying process it is necessary to study the theoretical foundations of intensification of the process of the proposed method. It is necessary to model the heat and mass transfer process.

Determination of implementation efficiency of hybrid shunting diesel locomotive, taking into account the type of field operation - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. One of the methods for increase in exploitation efficiency of shunting diesel locomotives is substitution of the existent diesel-generator set to the set of low power with an energy store, i.e. creation of a hybrid drive. The whole world attempts to implement the hybrid power transmission on rail transport [1-5]. However, such locomotives are not exploited in Ukraine. The optimization model for determination of rational technical and economic indexes of the hybrid shunting diesel locomotive has been developed, on the basis of which parameters of hybrid locomotives for different types of field operation have been defined. The efficiency coefficient of the hybrid shunting locomotive on the basis of the diesel locomotive of the ChME3 series has been calculated. It has been proved that implementation of the hybrid shunting diesel locomotive instead of the diesel locomotive of the ChME3 series improves technical, economic and ecological indexes of the locomotive.

Summary. The interactions of a moving air stream with bulk material in pneumatic transport pipeline are considered on the basis of the synergetic concept. The phase portrait of auto wave processes running with the wave front is shown. The process of forming a structured flow of granular materials under the influence of additional air jets with the emergence of bifurcation zone is being considered. Improvement and development of new highly efficient energy-saving methods of pneumatic conveying of bulk materials is carried out using structured aeromixture driving modes.

Summary. The article presents the analysis of modern principles of technological standardization. The output of the main tasks and issues to solve technological standardization, the objects of its activity. Highlight that different types of serial production can use the same principles of standardization and unification, but on a fundamentally different technology machine tool equipment. The output stages of the process, which is used standardization - unification, typification. The selected criteria for evaluation of the effectiveness of standardization, in particular - impact on the technological cycle of production. Solved most progressive use of the preparation process in parallel with the current or the partial mitigation for the release of resources for a new process. The methodology standards development processes - separation from complex to simple to obtain the smallest indivisible elements of technology in compliance with the technological sequence of the entire process, creating databases of standards, the standard process maps, route maps.

Summary. In article the work of transport service de-partment of port is considered. The analysis of the docu-ments necessary in the course of cargo operations is car-ried out. Dependence of level of methodical maintenance of technological process and economic efficiency of work in port is revealed. A variety of the factors influencing efficiency of reloading works, has found the reflexion in dependence of lay time of a vessel and time for perfor-mance of works at each stage of cargo process. For the purpose of definition of level of expected effect from ap-plication of information technologies the analysis of time of processing of the standard documents accompanying processes of transfer of cargoes in port is carried out. As a basis for the analysis the documents made and processed by transport service department of port in the course of registration of import and export cargoes are taken. The documents accompanying performance of treaty obliga-tions of port before clients and the state structures are analyzed. The port overall performance depends on a turnover of goods and accordingly from quantity of the processed courts. In this case it is not important, loading on a vessel (export) or unloading (import) takes place. Dependence of quantity of processed courts on time is reward size. Also, dependence of time components of lay time of a vessel on use of means of information systems in reloading process of port is shown. The model of the analysis of the factors influencing process of economy of lay time of courts is offered. The scheme of interaction of transport service department with various structures both in port, and with external clients is described. Use of systems of digital data processing in processes of preparation of documentary base is applicable for many technological processes and is universal algorithm on increase in efficiency of activity of the enterprise.

Intelligent control system of railway transport at metallurgical plants - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. The article deals with the transport control system at the railway transport of metallurgical plants. It has been created the intelligent control system based on the simulation of certain micrologistic enterprise system. In order to search for the most effective management decisions there are performed numerical runs of the micrologistic system simulation model at changing parameters of its work in certain ranges. Initial parameters are determined analytically or with the help of traditional methods. Decisions can be made at operational, medium and long-term planning, at the planned changes in the quantity and characteristics of the available resources, the development of transport infrastructure. Among the most effective according to model characteristics parameter sets expert group choose the one set, therefore optimization of the system parameters is provided. Conceptual control model of production processes and transportation of liquid iron and slag in the blast furnaces is determined. It has been developed the model of transport system with compensation of the influences of other subsystems and external factors on these processes. It has been created typical transport system simulation models of liquid iron and slag transfer; structure logic, control of processes and peculiarities of individual objects are presented. Models consist of standardized elements that perform certain operations for service of orders in the system. It is provided the possibility of further development of the basic models for increasing of the detailing level and advanced control logic. The influence of other subsystems on the transport system is taken into account by the withdrawal simulation of locomotives for these traffics. By the example of metallurgical plant it has been carried out the analysis of the efficiency of transport control system based on the developed models.

The Formation of Transportation Route Selection Model of the Urban Population in Matlab Software Environment - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. The article dwells upon the possibilities of the implementation of smooth calculation methods for predicting the demand for people movement. The developed model based on fuzzy logic allows to solve the problem of transportation allocation - the formation of passenger traffic for each type of route. Transportation route selection model takes into account the following defining factors: transportation fare on the route, average headway on it and fullness of a vehicle. Different combination of these factors form the attractiveness as a criterion of an optimal route for a prospective passenger. The article describes the gradual creation of passengers’ allocation model accordingly to the routes in the software environment Matlab using the Fuzzy Logic Toolbox package. The example of model implementation is given.

Quadratic nonlinear model of grain mixture movement in cylindrical vibratory centrifugal sifter pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. The hydrodynamic theory describes the standard vertical movement of pseudo rarefied mixture on the inner surface of the cylindrical vibratory centrifugal sifter, which rotates at a constant angular velocity around a vertical axis. It is a quadratic dependence of rheological tangent stresses in a mixture on the speed of its shift. We did nonlinear differential equations of motion of the grain mixture and corresponding extremum conditions. An analytical solution for extremum problem in the form of squaring was obtained, which can be calculated on a computer by numerical methods. Two variants of approximate analytical calculation of integral are proposed, with help of which the analytical solution of the problem of motion in the first and second approximations was obtained. It essentially uses a small ratio of the thickness of the layer of the mixture to a rolling radius of cylindrical sifter that normally takes place in the practice of separation. As a result, compact approximate formulas to calculate the flow rate and volumetric productivity of the sifter were figured out. Comparison of the results was conducted, which is led to by different approximations. For specific numerical data values we estimated the influence of rheological constants on kinematic characteristics of the flow. It is shown that the two constants crucial to the theoretical value of the mixture flow rate and volumetric productivity of the sifter. Therefore, the proposed nonlinear model of motion has advantages over the adequacy of its linear analogues, which it is summarizing. Compact formulas were derived for assessing the upper limit values of both rheological constants. A method of identifying values of constants was worked out it is based on measurements of flow velocity on the free surface of the movable layer of mixture. An example of identifying values of rheological constants was considered.

Theoretical background to the definition of resolution of seed mixes in vibro electric bowl separator - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. It is proved that to achieve a high-quality seed that has no impurities and substandard weeds (various damaged, shrunken) and biologically inferior (no germs) seeds of receipt is impossible without secondary postharvest treatment, and in many cases, additional cleaning. This can be achieved using the separator with working units, which would provide a selective effect on the power components of the separated mixtures. One of these is proposed as a vibro electric bowl separator, which implements the combined effect on the particles of seed mixtures by vibrations, electric field and gravitational forces. Theoretical studies of the impact of installed power adjustable parameters that affect the angle of separation of particles from the surface of the cylindrical bowl vibro electric separator makes the main feature of divisibility. They were the parameters of the electric field oscillating motion of the bowl, its size and speed. In order to achieve the greatest effect of separation of the components of seed mixtures becomes possible by optimization of these parameters that would provide the greatest difference of angles of the separating working surface.

Summary. Agricultural machinery and tractor units studied as multi-element mobile machines in this article. The combined sowing unit consists of three elements, such as a tractor, the capacity for seed and sowing ma-chines that move in succession. Known layout diagrams sowing units that have the capacity and the drill can change the sequence of location or capacity of the seed can be on the tractor and be rigidly connected with it. The dynamics of multi-machine data remains under-investigated. To study the dynamics of multi-machine use the Lagrange equation of the 2nd kind. Mathematical model of spatial movement of mobile machines are com-plex, and the study of the dynamics of multi-machine requires significant computing resources. The paper re-viewed and investigated the spatial dynamic model of the combined sowing machine and tractor unit. For a mechan-ical system with a spatial movement of the units of dy-namic equations are represented in the matrix form. The kinematic parameters are generated automatically by the software and differential and kinematic structures. The dynamic equations of a nonholonomic system can be ob-tained by a linear combination of the equations of the dynamics of holonomic systems with coefficients taken from the linear form. For numerical integration obtained in the system of ordinary differential equations convert them to normal Cauchy form in generalized coordinates or pseudo coordinates. The results of theoretical research of mathematical models of the dynamics of the combined machine-tractor unit as an example of the unit John Deere8345R + John Deere 1910 + John Deere 1895. Modes of motion, velocity components of the unit, and the path of movement, speed and dynamic wheel radius are study in this article.

Modeling the dynamics of the grain mixtures with the screening on cylindrical vibrating sieve separators - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. Processes of sifting of the grain mixes (GM) through openings of vibrosieves are critical performance parameters and quality of the grain-cleaning machines. Fluidized bed grain mixtures sieves by vibration is beneficial to the grains passing through the holes. However, the separation of some crops on sieves specific productivity is significantly reduced. This is due to a complex form of seeds and, accordingly, to distinguish them from the holes of sieves. Technological parameters of the separators (productivity and quality) in the separation of cultures is significantly reduced and do not correspond the requirements of production. An important stage of postharvest processing of grain is also the preparation of quality seeds, on which depends the future harvest. Fundam crop production is seed material, which provides 40-45% of implementation. Grain mixtures presented as vesicular fluidized environs with a certain viscosity, which move along a flat or cylindrical structural vibrosieves. These equations allow to determine the efficiency of screening grain mixes on new sieves with different promoters: epicycloid threefold separation buckwheat, five-epicycloid separation of peas and chickpeas, bulk separation of corn. Developed a mathematical modeling of the dynamics of moving grain mixes on flat and cylindrical vibrosieves by applying the analogy between the motion of a viscous incompressible fluid and grain mixtures, have proved effective. The article analyzes the results of the developed mathematical models of the dynamics of vesiculate fluidized grain mixture obtained regularities of changes in the velocity components of the mixture from structural and kinematic parameters of the developed cylindrical sieve with activators screening and its properties.

Summary. The article is devoted to the construction of the driven element for subsoil band applying of liquids in crop growing since one of the most important tasks of agricultural production is maximum crop yields obtaining. This problem solution is possible only under condition of the active use of crops protection from diseases and pests. Nowadays the chemical method of plants protection is the most effective and allocated, that is plants treatment in which liquid means of protection are its main part. They can be applied in two ways: the surface (with subsequent laying or without it ) and the subsoil ones. Disadvantages of surface applying are the following: some portion of the working liquid is lost unproductively exposed to evaporation, weathering, photochemical decomposition and so on, in most cases the preparation applied on the surface, acts only against vegetative plants, that is during a short-term period. That is why such treatments are called chemical weeding. Finally all above listed things result in decreasing of total treatment effectiveness and environment contamination. To some extent above mentioned problems can be solved under condition of subsoil pesticide application. The driven element geometric parameters of which were proved in the article was developed to raise the cultivated area quality

Investigation of the influence of winter wheat’s location on plant’s germination energy - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. This article deals with the increase of winter wheat yield by providing optimal conditions for intensive germination of seed material and rapid energy accumulation by the plant under conditions of adequate moisture and temperature conditions. Today the leaders of farmers more and more attention is paid to increase yields and improve grain quality. When sowing, a number of factors which significantly affect it. One of the key factors to obtain good quality and yield of winter wheat is optimal depth and uniformity placing grain in soil. After some investigation on the basis of one of the farms Sumy region, it was found that during sowing must be considered a very important factor - a "galloping" (bouncing) when sowing grains in line with its initial contact with the ground. The uneven impact on reducing crop field seed germination and therefore reduces yield. This can be explained by the fact that those plants that are best placed in the soil require less time to germinate, and those who are randomly (ie, where the galloping), there is competition between them in the early stages of development. This indicates that the better developed plants spike will be larger and less-developed plants - smaller, so we'll get worse yield. We have conducted research aimed to establish the intensity of germination and subsequent development of the root system and nad?runtovoyi of wheat depending on the location of the seed in the soil. During the studies found that seed must be placed vertically in line to the embryo was from above, which in turn accelerates sprout germination and increases the intensity of its development. If a grain is vertically or across a bed of seed - sprout needs more time to germinate because the embryo is farther from the surface of the soil and it should make a trajectory before becoming vertically and grow. Optimal placement and seeding technology in the soil will result in greater productivity, while spending less and seed funds.

Summary. The article presents the results of the energy evaluation of cultivation of spring barley during the foliar application on the background of mineral fertilizers in a dark gray podzolized soil of Western Forest Steppe of Ukraine. Investigations were carried out during the 2013 – 2015 period. The experimental setup consisted of ten variants with mineral fertilizers (factor A). Against the background of mineral fertilizers carried foliar feeding foliar preparations Fortigreyn, Gumifild + Fulvital Plus, Frey Aqua (Factor B). As a result of calculation of the energy efficiency obtained cost structure and energy assessment of spring barley cultivation in making organic products against various norms of mineral fertilizers. In the structure of energy consumption in growing spring barley on fertilizer accounts for a relatively large energy consumption. With the growth rate of fertilizer an increase in energy expenditure, which varies from 3418 MJ/ha in the variant where N30P30K30 was added to 5965 MJ/ha using N60P60K60. The highest value of the coefficient of efficiency of the energy supply provided a background of m?neral N45P45K45 – 3,12, which is associated with the energy intensity of harvest of spring barley. It is established, that the cultivation of barley during the foliar application on the background of mineral fertilizers on the dark gray ashy soil in Western Steppe of Ukraine is expedient in terms of energy. The most effective was the introduction the drug Frey Aqua, where the coefficient of performance of energy efficiency, depending on the mineral nutrition accounted for 1,90 – 3,35.

Grain Flow Dynamics on Vibrating Flat Sieve of Finite Width - pełny artykuł (full article) - plik PDF

Summary. The article deals with the problem of grain mixture dynamics in a three dimensional space on a flat vibrating sieve of finite width. To describe dynamics of grain mixture the theory of rapid motion in granular medium has been implied. The mixture is regarded as a biphasic medium in which pores between solid particles of disperse phase are filled with some gas or liquid in motion. The mixture is brought into a state of fluidization by means of high-frequency vibration imposition. The vibration effect on the medium is manifested in the decrease of the coefficient of internal and external friction with increase of vibration intensity. When considering grain mixture dynamics the following assumptions are put forward: we ignore the air presence in space between particles, we consider the density of particles to be constant; stress tensor is presented as the sum of the balanced and unbalanced tensors. The basic system of equations of grain mixture dynamics is due to the laws of continuum mechanics. The equation of continuity is issued from the law of conservation of mass, and the dynamic equations are issued from the law of variation of momentum. Boundary conditions on the surfaces (restricting the capacity of the free-running grain mixture) have been researched. The distributions of apparent density and velocity field are assigned at the inlet and outlet flow sections of the mixture. The normal velocity component of the grain mixture on the side frames and on the sieve becomes zero, which meets the no-fluid-loss condition of the medium through the frame. Beyond that point at this time we satisfy dynamic conditions, which characterize the mixture sliding down the hard frame and comply with Coulomb dry friction law: tangent stress is proportional to direct stress and is oppositely directed to particle velocity on the frame. The stress tensor on the free surface of the layer is equal to zero.

Summary. The description, scheme and general view of designed infrared vibrowave conveyer dryer for seeds of oil crops drying, the comparative analysis of theoretical and experimental researches of energy and kinematic model’s parameters have been done in this article. The main theoretical dependences and curves of results are presented. The mentioned above characteristics have been determined for two types of infrared products drying in the moving layer of products such as moving of treated raw materials by conveyer belt and products transporting by wave movement due to vibrating flat motion of conveyer supporting rollers. The schemes of infrared drying in moving layer of products are presented. The transporting method of raw materials during the technological drying process has been proved. All the researches have been conducted on conditions that products should be treated to necessary humidity by one pass through the working zone; it is possible due to the combined influence of infrared radiation and vibration action on the raw materials. The conducted researches have given the opportunity to evaluate the conformity of created mathematical model to the gained experimental data and choose the optimal working parameters of infrared vibrowave conveyer dryer for this technological conditions.
